Jelena Vanoverbeek (b. 1990 in Leuven, lives and works in Belgium) graduated from the School of Arts Ghent (BE) in 2014 and was a resident at WIELS (Brussels, BE) in 2017. She works with text and image discourses in media such as publication, video, installation, print. She has had solo projects in i.a. NICC (Brussels/Antwerp, BE), al_vista (Zürich, CH), Marquise (Brussels, BE), one gee in fog (Geneva, CH), RIOT (Ghent, BE). Her work was recently shown in group exhibitions in BLANCO (Ghent, BE), Lesage (Brussels, BE), Louise Dany (Oslo, BE), and WIELS (Brussels, BE)
