Jonathan Paepens °1989, born in Zottegem in Belgium, lives and works in Ghent. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. In 2016 & 2017 he was a resident at HISK in Ghent. His work was shown in recent exhibitions in C.I.A.P., Hasselt (BE), Kasteel van Gaasbeek, Gaasbeek (BE), Care Wormerveer, Wormerveer (NL), S.M.A.K., Ghent (BE) and Galeria A Gentil Carioca, Rio de Janeiro (BR). Upcoming exhibitions are in Paderborn (DE) and Zandvoort (NL).
In 2018 he received the audience award from the Friends of S.M.A.K.
